Jacob Vandever is a former political candidate, activist, and amateur writer and commentator.  Jacob was born and raised in Umatilla, Oregon on the East side of the State.  Jacob got involved in politics early on serving as the student representative to the Umatilla City Council for his Senior Project.

Vandever graduated high school in 2010 and moved to Corvallis to get his degree in Political Science at Oregon State University.  At OSU Jacob helped to re-found Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity on campus and went on to serve the fraternity in several different officer positions.

Jacob joined the OSU College Republicans and was actively involved in the 2010 and 2012 election cycles on different campaigns.  Jacob was the President of the club for the 2012 Presidential Election.

In 2014 Jacob was the Republican Candidates for the Oregon State Legislature for House District 16 representing Corvallis and Philomath.
